The focus of the design pro­cess for Och stu­dio when design­ing the cata­logue “Från fråga till fär­dig produkt” was to present an extens­ive amount of work with many levels of inform­a­tion in a way that would feel access­ible for read­ers out­side of the aca­dem­ic world.  This was achieved through using a clear grid struc­tur­ing the inform­a­tion, a gen­er­ous col­our palette mark­ing the dif­fer­ent levels of the text and a great amount of pho­to­graphs, still lifes and illus­tra­tions sep­ar­at­ing the text blocks.

Business & Design Lab at Gothenburg University released this pub­lic­a­tion describ­ing the exper­i­ences of the exper­i­ment­al research pro­ject “Design as a mul­tidiscip­lin­ary innov­a­tion pro­cess”. The research pro­ject invest­ig­ated what hap­pens in the meet­ing between design­ers and man­u­fac­tur­ing com­pan­ies when shar­ing their pro­fes­sion­al expert­ise.
